Since I’m not giving away any spoilers, this is going to be really hard for me, but here goes…

So I was really late on the whole “Stranger Things is the new Netflix tv show that everyone loves” thing so by the time I started it and was telling my friends about it, they were all like “umm… Juliet we already know” and I was just like “Oh… nevermind then :)”

Either way, I finished Stranger Things in about a week (no skipping)! I loved how it wasn’t like those typical tv shows that would make you think the main suspect is this person but there’s a plot twist, making you realize that they were leading you for no reason. ALSO! as you all should know if you read my other two blogs, I LOVE science fiction so I knew it had to be in my top 10 tv shows. And now it’s my second favorite tv show! (my first favorite is The 100 , which you should all check out!)

I was also really pleased on the character cast, it almost reminded me of The Goonies, but the characters in this tv show were so mature and they fit so well with each other. It made me wish I was part of the tv show! The entire concept of the tv show was also very new (for me at least). Most of the things I learned in there were things I never even knew about and would have never learned about if I hadn’t seen it. (That was a little confusing).

I was a little disappointed in the last episode because someone chose someone that I personally wouldn’t have chosen, but as I watched the Stranger Things interviews on YouTube (uh-huh! I watched basically everything that had to do with Stranger Things on YouTube) I realized that the writers did that for a “reason”; so, I’m glad that both of the “someones” will be returning FOR SEASON 2!!!

Overall, this was an amazing tv show that had just the right amount of science, mystery, “horror”, and drama; I recommend it to everyone, and honestly, it wasn’t as scary as it looked like, it was just a lot of suspense (not gore and pop-out scary stuff). It’s also very “science-y” because they basically talk to their science teacher all the time for answers on certain things.

FINAL: 5/5

  1. Such a great show. Also the child actors were amazing.

OH. And I completely agree with you on the “someone should not have chosen someone else”. Yes that Someone should not have chosen that person at all. hahaha
